Contaminated seafood from shredded wind turbine blades in Nantucket

A recent disaster off the coast of the beautiful island of Nantucket continues to unfold. A shredded turbine blade spread six TRUCKLOADS OF DEBRIS, toxic particles of fibreglass, microplastics and more, all over nearby beaches and in the seawater. This begs the question - do we want these toxic particles in our food? In our bloodstream? In our children's bodies? And what are the effects of these chemicals upon human health and development? Especially given the carcinogenic impacts of such toxins.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING regarding renwable Energy Zone Burnie Tasmania

This Sunday, independent MP Craig Garland is convening a public meeting for residents and those interested in the current proposal for a mega wind farm for Northwest Tasmania. The wind farm is proposed for one of 5 Renewable Energy Zones, called REZ. The relevant Tasmanian Government website RECfit announced in July 2024 their intention to establish these zones throughout Tasmania, including one in Bass Strait, off the north coast of our island.   The problem?
