A recent disaster off the coast of the beautiful island of Nantucket continues to unfold. A shredded turbine blade spread six TRUCKLOADS OF DEBRIS, toxic particles of fibreglass, microplastics and more, all over nearby beaches and in the seawater. This begs the question - do we want these toxic particles in our food? In our bloodstream? In our children's bodies? And what are the effects of these chemicals upon human health and development? Especially given the carcinogenic impacts of such toxins.
