More blackout events due to Wind Farm generated power supply

source

Here are some links to several recent articles. Interestingly, the usually biased, left-leaning ABC has had to report on these failures. South Australia has had catastrophic failures, which have a huge impact upon the community and vital services. With the insistence upon phasing out coal and gas (which are highly efficient immediate sources that can instantly support the grid. Called 'spinning reserve'), the renewable energy sources are proving unreliable:

This Sunday, independent MP Craig Garland is convening a public meeting for residents and those interested in the current proposal for a mega wind farm for Northwest Tasmania. The wind farm is proposed for one of 5 Renewable Energy Zones, called REZ. The relevant Tasmanian Government website RECfit announced in July 2024 their intention to establish these zones throughout Tasmania, including one in Bass Strait, off the north coast of our island.   The problem? On Sunday he will provide a venue for people living in and near the proposed zone. The meeting w...
